Panajotis Daramaras & Sania Stribakou
In a combination of installation and performance, artist Panajotis Daramaras and performer Sania Stribakou explore the dichotomy between mythical and scientific thought, using printed material as metaphor for the set of cultural and political elements that shape our cognitive activities. In pursuing the tension between myth, which denies temporality, and knowledge contained in the printed book, which rests on the idea of chronological sequence, the artists produce a decoding and critique of the concepts of knowledge.
Throughout the show's duration, the artists Katerina Bella, Sania Strimbakou and Panajotis Daramaras will develop a dialogue with the works of the installation, resulting in a final performance on Saturday, December 22 at 8:00pm. Lighting Design for the entire show by Apostolos Stratzalis.
Panajotis Daramaras is a visual artist who lives and works in Athens. He studied at the Stavrakos Film School, attended Modern Dance and Conducting lessons, and later graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Athens. He has designed sets for films and theater, and has participated in many group art exhibitions. In 2013 he choreographed and interpreted the work "Traces" in collaboration with Aggeliki Papadatou.
Sania Stribaku is a dancer and dance teacher. A graduate of the State School of Orchestral Art, she continued her research in Paris and New York with a scholarship from the Onassis Foundation at the studios DanceSpaceCenter and Movement Research. She has danced with the Amalgamas, Yelp danceco, Quasistellar, Ypsilon, Fingersix/Athens, among others, and worked with choreographers Gosia Haduch and the Unfinished Company, Marcela Giesche, Pere Faura, Lily Kiara, Filio Louvari, Giorgos Sioras Deligiannis and others. She has choreographed the piece "Passe-partout" in collaboration with Maria Mavridou, the Nota(c)tion project, and a piece which opened the University of Peloponnesos event "Taste and Memory".

Παναγιώτης Δαραμάρας & Σάνια Στριμπάκου
Ο χώρος σύγχρονης τέχνης FokiaNou Art Space παρουσιάζει την εγκατάσταση του Παναγιώτη Δαραμάρα και την performance της Σάνιας Στριμπάκου στην έκθεση με τίτλο 'indeX'.
Βασικός άξονας της έκθεσης είναι το δίπολο μεταξύ μυθικής και επιστημονικής σκέψης, με υλικό της τον τυπωμένο λόγο. Από τη μία ο μύθος και η άρνηση της χρονικότητας, σαν τα πράγματα να υπάρχουν επειδή όφειλαν εκ φύσεως να υπάρχουν και από την άλλη η συμπαράθεση αντικειμένων-βιβλίων και η ιδέα της αλληλουχίας. Μια ιεραρχική θεώρηση των επιπέδων. Μια χειρονομία αντίστασης στην εντροπία των πραγμάτων. Σε αυτό το δίπολο και σε αυτή τη διαφορά αναπτύσσεται ένα σώμα, μια σύνδεση. Το βιβλίο, η τυπωμένη γραφή, συγκροτεί ένα σύνολο πολιτισμικών και πολιτικών στοιχείων, που συνθέτουν, συντηρούν και διαμορφώνουν το πλαίσιο των γνωσιακών δραστηριοτήτων μας. Στόχος της έκθεσης είναι η αποκωδικοποίηση των εννοιών της γνώσης και η κριτική στα μέσα και στα σχήματά της.

Υπάρχει μόνο η συνεχής «ανάπτυξη» ενός περάσματος.
Τις μέρες που δε θα λειτουργεί η έκθεση οι performers: Κατερίνα Μπέλλα, Σάνια Στριμπάκου και ο εικαστικός Παναγιώτης Δαραμάρας θα ανοίξουν διάλογο με τα έργα της εγκατάστασης. Το αποτέλεσμα της έρευνας θα παρουσιαστεί στις 22 Δεκεμβρίου ημέρα Σάββατο και ώρα 8:00μμ.

Ο Παναγιώτης Δαραμάρας είναι εικαστικός που ζει και εργάζεται στην Αθήνα. Σπούδασε στην Κιν/φική Σχολή Σταυράκου, παρακολούθησε μαθήματα Σύγχρονου Χορού και Υποκριτικής και στη συνέχεια αποφοίτησε από την Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών Αθήνας. Εργάστηκε σε μεγάλου μήκους κιν/φικες ταινίες και στο θέατρο ως σκηνογράφος. Έχει χορογραφήσει, ερμηνεύσει το έργο "Traces" σε συνεργασία με την Αγγελική Παπαδάτου το 2013 και έχει συμμετάσχει σε ομαδικές εικαστικές εκθέσεις.
Η Σάνια Στριμπάκου είναι χορεύτρια και δασκάλα χορού. Απόφοιτος της Κρατικής Σχολής Ορχηστικής Τέχνης συνέχισε την έρευνά της στο Παρίσι και στη Νέα Υόρκη, με υποτροφία του Ιδρύματος Ωνάση, στο studio Dance Space Center και στο Movement Research. Έχει χορέψει με τις ομάδες Αμάλγαμα, Yelp danceco, Quasistellar, Ύψιλον, Fingersix/Athens μεταξύ άλλων και με τους χορογράφους Gosia Haduch and the Unfinished Company, τη Marcela Giesche, τον Pere Faura, τη Lily Kiara, τη Φιλιώ Λούβαρη, το Γιώργο Σιώρα Δεληγιάννη κ.ά.
